Round one tee times for this year’s Open Championship at Royal Birkdale are in with the seven Australians in action learning their groupings.
Travis Smyth, Min Woo Lee, Jason Day, Cameron Smith, Lucas Herbert, Adam Scott and Cameron John make up the Australian contingent fighting for the year’s final major.

Smyth is the first Australian to tee off on Thursday at 5.47pm AEST, followed by Lee in an exciting pairing with Ben Griffin and Hideki Matsuyama.
2015 PGA Championship winner Day is also an early starter in round one, going out with Justin Thomas and Alex Noren.
2022 champion at St Andrews, Smith, is out at 9.14pm. Despite being a tournament champion of the past five years, he goes out in the low-key grouping with Irish amateur Stuart Gregan and one-time winner on the PGA Tour Keith Mitchell.
LIV star Herbert is the first of the Australians to tee off in the afternoon groupings, starting at 11.09pm.

He’s followed by Scott, still seeking redemption at the Open following his unthinkable collapse in 2012 that saw him cough up the Claret Jug from four shots in the lead with four holes remaining.
He goes out with Chris Gotterup and Sam Burns at 11.31pm, while outsider John is the final Australian at 12.59am Friday.
