Wrestler Benjamin Satterley has died suddenly aged 40.
Known as Pac in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and as Neville in WWE, the beloved star wrestled less than 24 hours earlier against Andrade El Idolo at AEW’s All Out event.

One of the most talented high-flyers in the business, Satterly began competing in professional wrestling in 2004 and got his big break in 2012, signing with WWE.
He became NXT champion and cruiserweight champion at the organisation, while he also featured in WrestleMania 33, defeating Austin Aries.
A switch to AEW followed in 2019, where he formed an alliance with the Lucha Brothers called The Death Triangle.
He went on to win several more titles, including the International and Trios championships, most recently as a member of the Death Riders alongside Jon Moxley (aka Dean Ambrose).
AEW shared their condolences to Satterly’s family in a short statement paying tribute.
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the statement read.
“A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organisations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.
“Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history.
“Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”
Tributes have poured in for Satterly, from fans and fellow wrestlers.
“The greatest export from our country and also the greatest human being. Honoured to have shared the ring with you so many times. You truly are such a hero to myself and many others,” said reigning AEW world champion Will Ospreay.
“What a tragic day. What an extremely talented person. Speechless…RIP PAC,” wrote WWE star Rhea Ripley.
Another WWE fighter, Saraya, said: “F*** man.. this is terrible. For everyone that knew Ben (pac) would tell you what an incredible human he was. Truly one of the best. This is heartbreaking… sending so much love to his family and everyone else who was lucky enough to know him personally and to all who got to watch him perform and witness the greatness that was that man.”
“Heartbroken. In utter disbelief,” said wrestler KJ Orso.
“One of my biggest inspirations in this business and I was lucky enough to get to know him a bit and work alongside him… always mesmerised by getting to watch him work.”
“F*** man, this is terrible,” wrote WWE star Danhausen on X.
“Everyone that knew Ben would tell you what an incredible human he was. Truly one of the best. This is heartbreaking. Sending so much love to his family and everyone else who was lucky enough to know him personally and to all who got to watch him perform and witness the greatness that was that man.
