The Cats have surprisingly gone unchanged into their Friday night clash, despite reports young gun Sam de Koning would return to the side to help stop Fremantle’s gun tall forwards.
The Dockers meanwhile have made two changes with Brandon Walker failing to recover from an ankle injury suffered in his surprise qualifying final appearance, and Nathan O’Driscoll dropped. In come Corey Wagner and Judd McVee.
At Brisbane, Ty Gallop – who was omitted for the qualifying final – returns to add height to the backline, with Noah Answerth out after failing to pass a fitness test on a rolled ankle.
Opponents Adelaide have dropped Isaac Cumming with Zac Taylor regaining his place after a hamstring complaint.
The winner of Dockers-Cats will head to Sydney for a preliminary final next week, likely on Friday night.
In the other prelim, the winner of Lions-Crows will travel to face Hawthorn, likely on Saturday evening.
