Two Aussie world champions have been dethroned on the same day as Cherneka Johnson and Desley Robinson both lost their titles at the MVPW-05 event in Orlando, Florida.
Johnson (19-3, 8 KOs) went the distance against Dina Thorslund (25-0, 9 KOs) but Australia’s first undisputed champion of the four-belt era dropped the bantamweight straps in the main event.

‘Sugar Neekz’ lost by unanimous decision, 100-90 on all three cards.
In the semi-main event Robinson lost her WBO and IBF middleweight titles to Canadian Olympian Tamm Thibeault, also swept 100-90 on the cards.
Last week Australia’s Skye Nicolson, the WBC super bantamweight champion, was forced off the MVPW-06 card later this month due to injury.
