Tim Tszyu has locked in his next fight as he ramps up preparations for a blockbuster showdown with American superstar Errol Spence Jr later this year.
Just months after his victory over American Anthony Velazquez in Sydney, Fox Sports Australia can reveal the 31-year-old will step back through the ropes on Sunday, 5 April – Easter Sunday – for his next bout.
Full details of Tszyu’s next opponent, the venue and the fight card will be announced on Tuesday.

It will not be the first time that Tszyu has fought on Easter Sunday, with his bloody battle with Sebastian Fundora in 2024 also occurring on the holiday.
The bout shapes as a crucial tune-up for Tszyu as the former world champ looks to sharpen his edge ahead of one of the biggest fights of his career.
Speaking with Fox Sports Australia earlier this year, Tszyu spoke about his desire for the blockbuster showdown with Spence Jnr.
While Spence has long been considered among the biggest names in world boxing, a showdown with Tszyu also makes sense given the popular Texan hasn’t fought since being stopped by Terence Crawford three years ago.
Tszyu has been back in Miami, Florida training with new coach Pedro Diaz for several months.
Asked about a potential Spence showdown, Tszyu laughed: “Oh, of course I’d be keen. Are you serious?
“That one, if it is to happen, would be a megafight for Australia.
“One of the biggest ever for an Aussie, and up there alongside Jeff Horn versus Manny Pacquiao.
“It’s an intriguing match up too.

“And with huge stakes and plenty of questions on both sides.
“Do I still have it? Does Spence still have it?
“But I’ll leave all that to my team.”
