Australia’s superstar skipper Alyssa Healy was the big story, returning just in time for a massive World Cup semi-final against hosts India.

But she chopped on in the fifth over to be dismissed for 5 (15).

That left Phoebe Litchfield to be the hero, blasting an incredible 77-ball century to lead the Aussies to 159-1 off 25 overs.

Healy was in doubt for the match due to a calf complaint but was one of two inclusions for Australia along with Sophie Molineux, as Georgia Voll and Georgia Wareham went out of the side.

Healy is also wicketkeeping, replacing Beth Mooney.

She won the toss and elected to bat, which India captain Harmanpreet Kaur said she would have also done.

They made three changes with Shafali Verma taking the injured Pratika Rawal’s place at the top of the order, while Richa Ghosh (wk) and Kranti Goud come in for Harleen Deol and Uma Chetry.

Tonight’s winner will face South Africa in the final after they smashed England.

Australia XI: Alyssa Healy (c)(wk), Phoebe Litchfield, Ellyse Perry, Beth Mooney, Annabel Sutherland, Ashleigh Gardner, Tahlia McGrath, Sophie Molineux, Alana King, Kim Garth, Megan Schutt

India XI: Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Amanjot Kaur, Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh (wk), Radha Yadav, Kranti Goud, Sree Charani, Renuka Singh Thakur
