Manager shreds ‘absolutely s**t’ players in sport’s most savage post-match interview

Dorking Wanderers manager Marc White has delivered one of the most savage post-match takedowns in sports after his side bowed out of the race to feature in the FA Cup.

The semi-professional side — which was formed by White and a group of friends in 1999 before it earnt 12 promotions across English non-league divisions — lost 2-0 to Horsham to ensure it would not feature in the FA Cup draw.

And White didn’t hold back when asked for his thoughts after the match in an astonishingly brutal — and X-rated — assessment of his team.

“Today was, wholeheartedly, a bunch of players that were absolutely s**t,” White said.

“I will always put my hand up. I’d be the first to take blame. I ain’t taking the blame for that shower of s**t.

“But what I will do is guarantee that there won’t be a lot more of that from these boys.

“Atrocious. They should be called out.

“They get told when they do well and that’s how life works. Anyone who goes down that ridiculous thing of, ‘Oh don’t slag the players’ … the f***ing players get paid, they should do a great job, if they don’t do a f***ing great job, they should at least go down fighting.”

Dorking needed to beat Horsham to reach the first round of the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history.

White paid credit to Horsham for their success, before turning the heat back on his players.

“They fully deserve to be in the draw,” White said. “I really hope they get something amazing (in the next round), life-changing, so my f***ing shit players can learn a f***ing lesson because they were so poor.

“They’ve embarrassed the management team. It’s not about availability, injuries, who was returning, who wasn’t. It was about the fact that that team let the fans down 100 per cent.”

He added that his players were going to most likely get “fined to f**k” for their performance.

“Some of them showed that, when the going gets tough, they don’t get tough with it, they get going. That’s going to be a short career for them at my club and our club,” White said.

“All I can do is apologise on behalf of the players and the management team. For a team not to turn up in the FA Cup is scandalous.”
