Manchester City fans were reportedly forced to urinate and vomit out of buses as UEFA have come under fire for yet another organisational disaster at the Champions League final.
In 2022, the final was delayed by 38 minutes as Liverpool fans were tear-gassed and pepper-sprayed by French police which quickly led to large crowd crushes outside the Stade de France.

At the time, UEFA and French police blamed the Liverpool fans for the chaos but were forced to backtrack and issue refunds to the travelling Reds faithful after a review found both parties guilty of severe organisational failures.
One year on and it appeared European football’s governing body had still not learned their lesson when it came to club football’s showpiece event.
This year’s Champions League final took place at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, located on the outskirts of Istanbul.
In efforts to keep the two sets of fans separated, Inter supporters were instructed to use the city’s metro system while City fans, who were not permitted to use the metro system, had to go to a transport centre to take buses to the ground.
Upon arriving at the transport centre in Yenikapi, located outside Istanbul’s city centre, The Telegraph reports City fans were told by local police they had to dispose of any water bottles before getting on the bus, despite no bottles being available on the bus itself.

The 25km journey from Yenikapi to the stadium took approximately two hours due to the severe amount of traffic.
Witnesses told The Telegraph fans were forced to urinate out of the bus window, with some even vomiting.
Another witness claimed City fans forced their bus driver to pull over so they could urinate on the side of a road.
With traffic at a standstill, footage circulated on social media of City fans deciding to ditch their taxi or bus and walk to the stadium.
There was still worse to come for City fans.
As they made their way to the designated zone to be picked up by buses, there were just two and were both filled in an instant.
It was a nightmare for fans in wheelchairs because the car park was gravel, meaning they had to be either dragged in their chairs or were carried by other City fans.
UEFA are yet to issue a response to the farcical transport scenes but with Euro 2024 in Germany just around the corner, travelling fans will hope the governing body gets their act together in time.
