Road to the 2023 WCWS: No. 1 Oklahoma leads super regionals field

And then there were 16.

After a thrilling weekend of action, the road to the 2023 Women’s College World Series hits the super regionals.

No. 1 Oklahoma leads the way in pursuit of its fifth WCWS championship since 2016. The Sooners can become only the second team to win three national titles in a row (UCLA, 1988-90).

One team that won’t be able to stop OU is No. 2 UCLA, which was eliminated in the biggest upset of regionals. But No. 3 Florida State, No. 4 Tennessee and No. 5 Alabama are all still alive and looking to make it to Oklahoma City for the WCWS.

Three unseeded teams advanced to the supers: Louisiana, San Diego State and Oregon.
