Two of the most impressive Round 1 winners will clash at the MCG on Saturday afternoon, with Collingwood hosting Port Adelaide as the Power weigh up whether to tag Rising Star winner Nick Daicos.

The Magpies (1-0), who’ll unveil recruit Billy Frampton for the first time as Jeremy Howe’s replacement, are anticipating Daicos will receive some attention from the opposition. Pies coach Craig McRae told reporters this week: “If I’m the opposition I would tag Nick … He is a weapon.”

The Power (1-0) have their own midfield weapons though, with Jason Horne-Francis starring on Port debut last week and working superbly in tandem with fellow young stars Connor Rozee and Zak Butters.
