Conor McGregor made a bizarre appearance at the UFC 285 weigh-ins as Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane faced off ahead of their epic heavyweight bout.

Jones and Gane will fight for the vacant UFC heavyweight strap, with Jones tipping the scales at 248 pounds and Gane weighing in at 247.5 pounds.

It is Jones’ heavyweight debut as he looks to become a UFC champion in two different weight classes having moved up a weight division.

And the American cannot wait to get back into the octagon after a lengthy absence.

“I’m just grateful,” Jones said.

“I love you guys, thank you so much for being here.

“I was blessed with a tremendous gift. It’s an honour to display it in front of all of you guys.

“So tomorrow night, and still, I say. Let’s get it.”

Gane is excited at the chance of fighting against a man many consider to be the greatest to ever step into the octagon.

“This fight will be a big bonus for me,” Gane said.

“I’m so happy about this opportunity. If I win tomorrow, I’ve got the belt, I’m the baddest guy on the planet.

“Because of this guy, he’s the GOAT, so this is the second bonus for me.”

After the two faced off, McGregor was then introduced on stage in a surprise appearance before revealing the fans gathered in the venue would be a part of his upcoming movie, Road House.

“Las Vegas! Who’s ready for tomorrow night?” McGregor said.

“We got the biggest fight in Road House history. Harris vs Dalton, UFC 222.

“Everyone in this arena, you’re about to be part of my movie that’s coming out with myself and Jake Gyllenhaal. Let’s go Las Vegas!”
