The UFC is finally returning down under again when featherweight title holder Alexander Volkanovski looks to become a double-champ by taking down lightweight king Islam Makhachev.
The co-main event, meanwhile, sees Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett battle it out for the interim title, with the winner to later face Volkanovski to unify the featherweight crown.
So, when will the two biggest fights of the card take place and when does UFC 284 start?

The action gets underway at 10.15am AEDT (7.15am local time and 6.15pm ET) with the early preliminary card as Australian Jack Jenkins makes his UFC debut.
Jenkins earned his shot after impressing in Dana White’s UFC Contender Series, although White described the Victorian a “one-trick pony”.
Jenkins will be keen to prove White wrong when he takes on Don Shainis in the final fight of the early preliminary card.
Then it will be time for the preliminary card, which is headlined by Tyson Pedro continuing to build in his return from injury as he takes on Modestas Bukauskas.
The preliminary card gets underway at 12pm AEDT (9am local time and 8pm ET).
As for the main card, it is scheduled to begin at 2pm AEDT (11am local time and 10pm ET) as Jimmy Crute kicks things off against Alonzo Menifield.
All eyes will then be on the main event, with Islam Makhchev and Alexander Volkanovski expected to make their octagon walks at around 4.15pm AEDT (1.15pm local time, 12.15am ET).
That of course could change depending how long the earlier fights last.
