It extends a close relationship spanning two decades, and ensures WWE’s weekly programs including Raw, SmackDown, and NXT remain live on Foxtel’s Fox8 and Fox Sports, as well as on Kayo and Foxtel Now. One-hour versions of each show will air the following day and on demand.

Rebecca McCloy, Foxtel Group Commercial Director – Sports, said: “We are excited to

extend our long-term partnership with WWE, bringing all the amazing WWE action,

personalities and theatre to the Foxtel Group’s 2.4 million sports subscribers.

“We know our Foxtel customers love WWE. Our new sports streaming service Kayo now has

over one million subscribers, which is seeing a whole new audience of Australian sports fans

entertained by WWE’s universe of superstars including Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley,

Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair.”

The news comes on the back of a stunning Money in the Bank show on the weekend, as Roman Reigns asserted himself once again as the WWE’s greatest big-match performer.

The weekend also signalled the return of fans to fully-packed stadiums for the first time in 17 months – and delivered plenty of sizzling action in the ring.

Now Reigns and his trademark Superman Punch is set to face off against the legendary John Cena at the upcoming SummerSlam, after Cena called out the reigning Universal Champion on Monday Night Raw.

Cena delivered an incendiary challenge to his rival, declaring: “Roman Reigns is an a*****e … an arrogant, self-absorbed, over-hyped, over-protected, over-exposed gimmick.”
